Description

Aecon Group, Inc. engages in construction and infrastructure development. It operates through the Construction and Concessions segments. The Construction segment includes all aspects of the construction of both public and private infrastructure, primarily in Canada and, on a selected basis, internationally. The Concessions segment focuses on the development, financing, building, and operation of construction projects, primarily by way of public-private partnership contract structures, as well as integrating the services of all project participants and harnessing the strengths and capabilities of Aecon. The company was founded by Etienne Beck, Rose Beck, and John M. Beck on January 14, 1957 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
