Calian Group Ltd. engages in the provision of technology services. It operates through the following segments: Advanced Technologies, Health, Learning, and Information Technology and Cybersecurity Solutions (ITCS). The Advanced Technologies segment focuses on providing software development, product design, custom manufacturing, full lifecycle support, project management, multi-disciplinary system solutions, satellite operations, and hosting services to space, defense and terrestrial sectors. The Health segment involves the domain in healthcare services, pharma solutions, and digital technologies. The Learning segment includes the provision of consulting services in emergency management and training solutions such as military, simulation technologies, and services. The ITCS segment consists of supporting customers in digital transformation from advisory through to implementation, delivery, management, monitoring and securing IT infrastructures. The company was founded by Lawrence Robert O'Brien on September 27, 1982 and is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.
