It operates through the following segments: Department Stores, Home Improvement, Supermarkets, Mallplaza, Other businesses and Inter Segment, and Banking Business. The Department Stores segment operates under the falabella brand and its activities are the sale of a range of products including retail sales of clothing, accessories and products for the home, electronics, beauty products and others. The Home Improvement segment operates mainly under the sodimac brand and its activities are the sale of building and home improvement products, including building materials, hardware, tools, and accessories for kitchen, bathroom, garden and decoration, among other things. The Supermarkets segment operates using the hypermarkets and supermarkets format under the tottus brand, offering food and other non-food products. The Mallplaza segment operates in the real estate segment through the development and leasing of shopping centers in Chile, Peru, and Colombia. The Other Businesses and Inter eliminations segment includes linio, falabella.com, digital payments, ikea, fazil, the industrial sector, corredora de seguros de Chile, CF seguros de Vida, investments in Uruguay and Mexico, investment companies and eliminations. The Banking Business segment includes information on all banking business, in Chile and abroad. The company was founded by Salvatore Falabella in 1889 and is headquartered in Santiago, Chile.
