AXP Energy Ltd. is an oil and gas production and development company, which engages in the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas in the United States of America. It operates through the following segments: Appalachian Basin, Denveri-Julesburg Basin, Illinois Basin, and Corporate and Other. The Appalachian Basin segment occupies assets located in a well-defined gas production. The Denveri-Julesburg Basin segment occupies assets located in the historic Florence oilfield and are geologically defined by the Canon City embayment. The Illinois Basin segment consists of Palestine, Waltersburg, Tar Springs, Hardinsburg, Jackson, St. Genevieve, O'Hara, McClosky, Warsaw, and Fort Payne. The Corporate and Other segment includes non-trading operations and unallocated corporate costs. The company was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Lexington, KY.
